La Maison de Roche – “La Fenestrelle” Apartment
Nestled in the historic center of Uzès, with one of the town’s most beautiful façades, this 17th-century stone townhouse, fully renovated in 2020, offers stunning views over the cobbled streets and rooftops of the First Duchy of France.
This 100 m² duplex perfectly combines the charm of ancient stone with the comfort of modern living — an ideal retreat to relax and soak up the timeless atmosphere of southern France.
Once the private mansion of the former Consul of Uzès, La Maison de Roche is a historic townhouse full of character and elegance.
The “La Fenestrelle” duplex apartment, with no overlooking neighbors, is ideally located just a few steps from the famous Place aux Herbes, known for its lively Provençal market every Wednesday and Saturday morning.
The apartment includes:
Two double bedrooms, one with a smart TV and streaming services
A spacious dining room
A bathroom with shower
A large living room with smart TV
A modern, fully equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher)

Two story apartment with good size rooms and very clean. Each room was comfortable and functional. They were decorated simply, but they all had charm. Very well equiped, nicely renovated, spacious apartment. Friendly host. But NO parking on site as promised and difficult acces and parking in the streets. The host's instructions were hard to benefit from in the stress of the traffic - the host left (to other clients) before our arrival. The apartment has several levels with a bit difficult steps.

We stayed four days and the apartment lived up to its lovely pictures and had every convenience. The location is superb near the plaza which is the heart of the city. The two sets of very steep stairs should preclude any renters who are not fit and able bodied. That said, my husband and I are both 8...
