Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this rustic chalet for rent in the town of Cohennoz, located in a natural area close to mountain pastures and forests, with views of the Aravis and Mont Charvin. It has a surface area of 1,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Ideal for a return to nature or a timeless getaway. The chalet has a large 864 ft² living room opening onto a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and a shower room. You can enjoy a garden of approximately 10,711 ft². Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost.
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
In the basement:
- Bedroom 1: bunk bed (sleeps 2)
- A bathroom (with shower) with a ceiling height of approximately 1.80 m
- A separate toilet
- A laundry room
On the ground floor:
- Entrance to the chalet
- An 80 m² living room with armchairs, sofas, etc.
- A fully equipped kitchen with: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, 2 induction hobs, etc.
- A dining area (large table with 8 chairs)
First floor:
- Bedroom 2: double bed
- Bedroom 3: double bed
- A lounge area with armchairs and a TV for watching DVDs (TV not connected to digital terrestrial television)
- An area that can be used as an office
On the second floor:
- Bedroom 4 under the eaves: 2 single beds pushed together to form a double bed (accessible by a ladder) and a small reading corner.
Outside:
The unfenced garden and terrace are accessible from the ground floor. (furniture provided in summer)
The chalet is located in a very quiet area, at the foot of hiking trails and a 10-minute drive from the Espace Diamant ski area and its resorts. All essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, and markets, are about a ten-minute drive away.
Transportation:
You can park near the chalet, 50 m away (2 cars can be parked).
For other modes of transportation, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest train station: Albertville, about 10.5 miles away
- Nearest airport: Chambéry, about 1 hour and 10 minutes away
- Bus service to Ugine
Other important information:
- Chalet heating: wood stove and electric radiators in the bedrooms.
- The shower room is old and heated by an oil stove.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request at an additional cost (rental and payment to be made to our local partner). The prices given are for information only and are subject to change by our partner. Double bed kit €36; single bed kit €18; towel kit €10 per person.
- Young children are welcome (high chair and playpen available), but the chalet is not secure enough to leave young children unattended by adults.
- The chalet does not have a Wi-Fi box.
- Pets are allowed in the accommodation free of charge. One pet is accepted by default.
- Very steep stairs to access the second floor, not suitable for small children, elderly people, or people with reduced mobility.
- Balustrade overlooking the living room. Not suitable for small children left unattended.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean condition and clean the appliances after use.
