## Emplacement
The commune is bounded to the east and south by Paris (from east to south: Porte de Villiers, Porte des Ternes, Porte Maillot, Bois de Boulogne), to the west by the Seine (La Défense district, in the communes of Courbevoie and Puteaux) and to the north by the commune of Levallois-Perret. It encompasses a large part of Ile de la Jatte (with the exception of its northern tip, which is part of Levallois-Perret), and the northeastern tip of Ile de Puteaux, the Neuilly part of which is also known as Ile du Pont. A very chic, family-friendly suburb, known for its calm and affluent families.
