Location and Equipment: Our comfortable holiday apartment Gipfelfreund 1 is located in the leisure facility of the Predigtstuhl Resort in Sankt Englmar. The 33m² apartment can accommodate up to 5 people, who can sleep on a comfortable box spring bed (approx. 160 cm x 200 cm) and a bunk bed with an additional pull-out bed (each approx. 90cm x 200cm). The apartment has a beautiful, large balcony with a pool view.

The balcony is southwest-facing and covered. The apartment Gipfelfreund 1 has ground-level, step-free access. It features a modern, fully equipped, functional fitted kitchen.

This includes, among other things, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave with oven function, a toaster, a coffee machine, and a kettle. In the complex, there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers, which allow you to do your laundry yourself during a longer stay.

Of course, bed linen and towels are provided upon arrival. Location of the Apartment: Our holiday apartment Gipfelfreund 2 is located at an altitude of approx. 900 m and is therefore an optimal starting point for hiking, cycling, skiing, and snowboarding (some slopes are within walking distance).

Families in particular will feel at home here, as the complex not only has a playground but also a soccer hall, a go-kart track, and the indoor playground "FamilyWorld" (for a fee). With free use of the indoor pool (regularly closed in November), the heated outdoor pool (summer season), various saunas, the wellness area, and the fitness studio, you can enjoy many relaxing moments. Especially after hiking and winter sports or fitness training, you can enjoy soothing warmth in the Finnish sauna (90 degrees) or the organic sanarium (60°) or in the infrared heat cabin, and then relax in the quiet room (not for children under 16 years). Further activities are possible in the complex.

There is a mini-golf course, table tennis tables, billiards tables (bats, mallets, and cues can be rented at the reception for a fee), and a playground.

Once you have explored the complex, there are diverse leisure activities in and around Sankt Englmar. The ski area for experts, beginners, and children: Modern snow-making facilities at 12 ski lifts, 5 lifts with floodlights and 4 downhill runs are covered by snow-making. For the little ones, there are magic carpets and children's lifts in the ski schools' facilities. An approx. 100 m long children's lift is located at the Pröller ski triangle, and a 30 m long magic carpet is available at the Grün-Maibrunn ski lift. Snowboarders can use a fun park.

The 12 cross-country ski trails with a total of over 100 km will delight all cross-country skiers. And for all those who want to learn to ski or improve their technique, there are several ski schools that teach alpine skiing, carving, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding. Children and adults alike can enjoy the snow-covered toboggan run at the spa park with a toboggan lift.

With snow-making, floodlights, and a kiosk, a tobogganing evening becomes an unforgettable experience. Two more toboggan runs without floodlights, an ice rink in the spa park for ice skating, the 55 km long cleared winter hiking trails, and guided snowshoe hikes complete the winter sports offerings in and around Sankt Englmar.
