Thoroughly independent gîte over 1 ha grounds, nestled in a meander of la Rance, opposite the village of Plaisance,between Tarn and Aveyron.
Lovely terrace with pergola, tree-planted grounds(fruit trees), direct access to the river.
Ground floor : living-rm-cum-open kitchen and lounge corner, WC. Upstairs : 2 bdrms, shower rm, WC. Baby equipmt.
Stove(wood supplied). Possibility of bd sheets & towels renting and cleaning service at the end of your stay. This former habitation house, a family heirloom, is part of the patrimony of the villages of Curvalle and Plaisance.
Nestled in a meander of la Rance, secluded over an ha of meadows, it will grant you calm, greenery and coolness, near the village services of Plaisance(5 minutes on foot). Starting with a barn with neither water nor electricity, Roger, Françoise and Florie have accomplished, five years long, a high quality renovation , which preserves the authenticity of the site and construction.
By conviction, and without neglecting comfort, they have privileged ecological options (teal, stones, chalk-stone, earth, wood and local products, solar energy, wood heating...). Lovers of hiking and mountain biking (road bikes and mountain bikes) will find there an ideal environment.
The valley of Tarn, the Parc Naturel des Grands Causses, the Roquefort area, the Episcopal City of Albi (classified World Heritage by the Unesco)will be as many touristic opportunities. ..

Un gîte agréable et confortable :Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans ce gîte confortable et fonctionnel, bien situé à côté du village de Plaisance. Les propriétaires se sont beaucoup investis pour conserver ou intégrer des éléments patrimoniaux (évier en pierre, poignées des portes ...).Nous remercions les propriétaires pour leur accueil.

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment agréable sans aucune nuisance( bruit ou voisinage)l'endroit est agréable avec la proximité du ruisseau et le côté écologique est un plus.Sans oublier l'accueil sympathique des propriétaires et leur totale disponibilité.

Très bel endroit, situation exceptionnelle, nous avons passé une semaine formidable, accueil chaleureux, noix pommes et châtaignes du jardin en produits d'accueil, tellement bon et le petit plus le feu déjà allumé avant notre arrivée... les enfants ont adoré, notamment notre voisin le cheval...nous reviendront
