The Cordais plateau, a wonderful place for your holidays, located between Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel.
From the Episcopal City, the road rises, leaving the banks of the Tarn below, to reach the plateau.
The landscape changes completely; the soil becomes limestone, and the stones are all white.
Numerous villages dot the landscape, including Mailhoc, overlooked by its medieval castle. Detached house overlooking fields of grain or sunflowers. Upon entering, you are greeted by a majestic stone staircase with steps worn by the centuries. - To your left, a washing machine and a shower room with a toilet and sink. - To your right, a very large kitchen/dining room where you can share your meals around a beautiful wooden table.
Beyond that, a living room with a television and board games. * Kitchen equipped with an oven, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric mixer, immersion blender, and potato masher. - Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms, a shower room, and a separate toilet.
Bathed in light, the first bedroom offers a beautiful volume with its French ceiling and a 160x200cm bed.
Two other bedrooms have two single beds of 90cm, ideal for children. - On the second floor, the fourth bedroom offers a lot of character with its beautiful mullioned window and a 160x200cm bed. Exterior: enclosed courtyard at the front, thus a fenced garden of approximately 150m².
Adjacent to the house, an old barn of 85m² houses a ping-pong table and provides shelter for meals from the heat (or the rain!). Terrace with a pergola and garden furniture.
Petanque balls and Molkky game. Easy parking is available next to the gîte, in front of the courtyard.
The old barn can store bicycles and scooters. Bed linen provided, beds made upon your arrival. Within the hamlet of La Carrayrié, your gîte is a typical manor house of the Cordais plateau, formerly a dependency of the castle, with some parts dating back to the 17th century! Made entirely of white stone, its facade is adorned with an impressive Virginia creeper that takes on shimmering colors in the autumn. Bed linen provided, beds made upon your arrival. - End-of-stay cleaning: €80 - Towel rental: €5 per person

Propriétaires agréables qui ont rénové cette ancienne bâtisse en un magnifique gîte spacieux tout confort (grandes chambres, vieilles pierres, parquet ancien tout y est!) Situé entre Cordes sur Ciel et Albi on profite de la campagne sans être trop loin des commodités et lieux touristiques. Idéal également avec un chien le jardin est clôturé.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjours dans ce gîte magnifique avec notre famille et nos chiens. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et leur gîte est bien décoré et équipé, rien ne manque pour un séjour agréable que ce soit en cuisine ou pour se divertir; jeux de sociétés,table de ping-pong, pétanque....
