Nestled on the edge of the forest, in a peaceful and unspoiled setting, this detached chalet is an invitation to relax and explore nature.
A hiking trail passes right by the chalet and leads into the forest, where birdsong accompanies your walks. Its location is ideal for discovering the treasures of the Tarn region.
Between the hillsides of the Gaillac vineyards, one of the oldest in France with over 2,000 years of history, and the famous fortified towns of the Albi region such as Puycelsi, Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Penne, and Bruniquel, there are numerous opportunities for excursions.
Cordes-sur-Ciel, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the area, is certainly worth a visit.
The episcopal city of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just 30 minutes away. The chalet is located near the owners' house and another gîte (ref. 81G335), in the heart of the woods.
Its private terrace, furnished with a dining table and sun loungers, offers a pleasant view of the forest. On the ground floor, the bright living room benefits from large bay windows that give the impression of being in the heart of the woods while still providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The living area includes a lounge with a television and a wood-burning stove for cozy evenings.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, gas hob, coffee maker, etc. Also on the ground floor is the first bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm) and the shower room with toilet. Upstairs, under the eaves, there is a small sitting area with a sofa and a bedroom with two single beds, ideal for children. Bed linen is provided; please remember to bring your own towels. On the property, young and old alike will enjoy the presence of the animals: ponies, donkeys, cats, hens, and roosters.
Depending on the season, you can collect eggs from the henhouse or pick some vegetables from the garden. Nearby

Nathalie et Patrick sont prévenants et très accueillants, on se sent comme chez soi.La vue panoramique sur les bois depuis le salon ou la terrasse donne le sentiment d'être en pleine nature.Un lieu facile à vivre, une chambre naturellement fraîche même par 38° dehors, un must !
