This jewel of the region offers you the chance to go for a walk or a bike ride, or even have a drink while enjoying a plate of tapas at sunset with a breathtaking view of the Canal and the tranquillity of the south. You can also visit the medieval town of Carcassonne, just 10 minutes from the gîte, or Lac de la Cavayère. Its location is ideal for travellers looking for peace and quiet, but also for discovering new things. Shops are also close by (supermarket, bakery, etc.). On site at the gîte, you have your own terrace on the banks of the River Aude, with garden furniture and barbecue. You can also stroll around the owners' large garden, which is entirely at your disposal during your stay. For children, there is a football pitch next to the garden. A garage is available for a city car but there is also a public car park just opposite the gîte.
Gîte comprising, on the ground floor, an entrance hall giving access to the garage which has a laundry area with washing machine. The second entrance leads to the living room of the gîte with a fully equipped fitted kitchen and a lounge with armchairs, sofa and TV, the whole living area is air-conditioned. Access to the terrace and garden is also via the entrance hall. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a 160cm bed and a second bedroom with a 140cm bed and a small dressing area, plus a separate shower room with shower, WC and washbasin. Private terrace with barbecue. Owners' garden at your disposal. WIFI ACCESS. Air conditioning on the ground floor. Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning service extra. Private garage and public car park nearby. Baby equipment.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Monique et Jean-Jacques. Ce sont des hôtes adorables, ils nous ont réservé un très bel accueil, nous ont conseillé sur les choses à faire et à visiter dans la région. Super gîte. Idéalement situé près des activités à faire en couple ou en famille, Carcassonne, gouffre de Cabrespine... Canal du midi et restos à 30 secondes à pieds. Grand jardin potager pour se détendre. Les propriétaires sont adorables et nous ont offert des légumes du potager.
