On request, an electric barbecue is available for convivial moments. The location of the gîte is ideal for visiting the treasures of the Aude: beautiful walks or bike rides are available from the gîte to discover the Alaric massif with the Congoust gorges and enjoy the most beautiful viewpoints in the region.

30 minutes away are a number of remarkable sites: the medieval town of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, and even closer to the gîte: Lagrasse, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, and the banks of the River Orbieu and its swimming spots. The communal swimming pool located in the owners' house (to be shared with the second 4-person gîte) is also at your disposal (dimensions: 12x3.50) and is open from mid-May to the end of October depending on the season (subject to prior conditions - please contact us). The pool is accessible every day from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm by notifying the owner.
