A romantic Andalusian villa with splendid views!
It couldn't be more Andalusian.
The wooden beamed ceiling, terracotta tiles, and white/ochre walls reveal the Southern Spanish roots of this charming traditional country house.
It is situated on a hill of olive and avocado trees overlooking the countryside and the Mediterranean.
Quiet and charming... perfect for a relaxing and romantic getaway in the sun! Location and Exterior The house enjoys a very quiet location, yet is conveniently accessible by car: 7 minutes to Frigiliana and only 10-15 minutes to Nerja and the beaches of the Costa del Sol. Malaga is less than an hour away, and Granada only 90 minutes.
It is just as easy to visit the beautiful historic cities of Cordoba, Seville and Ronda. As you can see from the photos, the house is situated amidst an olive grove and is accessed by climbing several steps from the parking area below.
A splendid terrace with stunning views opens onto the living room.
A few steps away through the kitchen you will discover the swimming pool where you can enjoy complete privacy.
You will find a charming and traditional atmosphere, with a terrace of natural stones and terracotta tiles surrounding the pool (6.6 m x 4.6 m and 1.1 m to 1.5 m deep, with Roman steps in the shallow end). Sun loungers are provided, and a barbecue with garden furniture are at your disposal to enhance your outdoor meals.
The pool terrace overlooks the valley and the sea to the southwest, a beautiful place to sit in the evening to contemplate the full moon or the stars.
Birds are abundant all year round, a real treat for bird lovers.
Mountain goats can sometimes be seen on the slopes further up. Parents of young children should be aware that the steps leading up to the house are quite steep. Interior and Layout The house combines a peaceful and romantic atmosphere with Andalusian elements such as beamed ceilings, traditional bricks, handmade tiles, and whitewashed walls.
The open-plan living room flows into the dining area and kitchen.
It is equipped with 2 sofas, a fireplace, a stereo system with radio, CD and cassette player, and satellite TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, both with traditional ochre ceilings contrasting with the whitewashed walls.
The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and has a bath, toilet, and sink. Both bedrooms have air conditioning (at no extra cost) and there is a fan in the living room. Note: Wifi internet connection is available (free of charge).

We had a really nice week at the house just north of Frigiliana. The house itself was clean and cozy, with a great outdoor space with good layout (terrace and pool in close proximity), and had a calming authentic feel both inside and outside. The colour scheme was primarily natural stone, bricks + t...
