If you are looking for a place where you have a wide variety of tapas bars, restaurants and shops close at hand from your villa, then this must be your choice. However, you will enjoy the tranquil ambience of a rural home and the wonderful views over the stunning gorge of the Higueron river. Inside, the villa is spacious, simple and comfortable.
Situation and exterior
The villa is located on the Camino Boticario street, just a 2 minute walk from the famous Restaurante Virtudes, away from the bustling whitewashed streets of Frigiliana. Here you can easily pass by without a car, as the bus stop and taxi rank are only 150 metres from the house and will easily take you to the lovely beaches of Nerja or to the many museums of Málaga. From the villa, you can also take pleasant walks along the course of the Higuerón River or down to the countryside west of Frigiliana.
The outdoor area of the villa includes a large terrace and a private L-shaped swimming pool (7.5 m x 7.5 m x 4 m; 0.8 m - 2.20 m deep) which includes a separate children's area at the shallow end. Sun loungers are provided. Another terrace, complete with garden furniture and parasol, is located on the upper floor and is accessible from the living room; it is the perfect place to enjoy your alfresco dinners and the splendid views of the surrounding countryside. The barbecue area is located next to the swimming pool.
Interior and layout
Interiorly, the house is simply and comfortably furnished although, in our opinion, it is somewhat dated in places. The rooms are arranged on three levels.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room furnished with 2 sofas, a low table and satellite TV. The separate dining room is conveniently located next to the kitchen and has a dining table, a sofa bed and a wall shelf with books at guests' disposal. The kitchen has plenty of space and includes a breakfast table, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 4-ring gas hob, electric oven and microwave. There is also a double bedroom (with double bed) and a shower room on this floor.
FIRST FLOOR
On the first floor you will find 2 double bedrooms (1 with double bed and 1 with twin beds), and a shower room with WC and washbasin.
A shower room and washing machine are located on the lower floor.
Note: WiFi internet connection is available at an additional cost per week (payable on site).

What a lovely place in a great location in a lovely village. Very helpful owners too. I would only make 1 comment and that is that they say you have to use plastic cups by the pool (understandably) but they only provide 2. So more plastic cups needed.

What a lovely villa - really clean and spacious and 5 mins walk from the centre of town. Views are fantastic and the pool is beautiful. Javier the owner was really friendly and Ralph at Casitas Select made the whole booking experience really easy. We will definitely return!
