This house is a haven of peace in immediate proximity to the A75 motorway and the town of Lodève with its supermarket, post office, banks, etc.
The gîte is on the ground floor of a stone house.
The owner lives upstairs and will be available for any information.
The gîte consists of a living area with a kitchen/living room with a sofa, a bathroom (washing machine and bathtub), and a double bedroom (bed: 140x190).
Coming to Mas Baryte means above all enjoying the outdoors: a terrace, sun loungers under the shade of trees for a moment of simplicity.
Pick lily of the valley or mushrooms depending on the season, accompanied – if you're lucky – by salamanders, squirrels, deer, foxes... etc.
Ideal for walkers, with the possibility of trails starting directly from the gîte... further afield, the famous "Sentier du bout du monde" (Path to the End of the World), the Lergue Valley trail, the Soumont Balconies.
The Héric Gorges....
TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: Lodève Museum, Causse du Larzac, Labeil Cirque, canoeing on the Orb or Hérault rivers, Lake Salagou (VTT-FFC area), climbing sites, Mont Caroux and Mont Espinousse with multiple canyoning activities accessible to beginners and even the most experienced, (…), Mourèze Cirque, Navacelles Cirque, Canyoning in the Vis Valley, Héric Gorges (…..) Non-smoking accommodation (nature will thank you).
No fires. barbecue, a plancha is available...
To preserve the place and the fauna, calm behavior is desirable.
Access to the gîte is via a narrow hiking path along the stream.
The gîte is supplied with spring water (mineral water provided).....
Vehicles with a chassis wider than 1.80 meters cannot access.
Possible for ALL cars and small vans (e.g., Peugeot Expert / Jumpy / Vito....etc).
Not possible for caravans, motorhomes...etc.
Parking in front of the gîte.
On the edge of the forest and by the river, find this gîte at the end of a path, for a guaranteed disconnection in the heart of nature, lulled by the birdsong and the flow of water under the old stone bridge.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le Mas Baryte. Très bon accueil du propriétaire, nous avons surtout apprécié sa discrétion tout en restant très disponible. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce gîte du "bout du monde" au cadre exceptionnel

Endroit parfaitement isolé du milieu urbain bien que Lodève soit tout proche, lieu recommandé pour les amoureux de la nature et de l'isolement. Propriétaire facilement accessible et disponible de présence discrète. Impératif de respecter la largeur max du véhicule de 1.80 m pour y accéder.
