Between ancient remains and medieval heritage, its streets invite you to explore, especially around the old oppidum and the Castellas site offering remarkable views over the Cévennes and the Mediterranean.
You will enjoy a lively environment with local shops, dynamic associations and easy access to Montpellier by car or public transport, allowing you to alternate between relaxation and urban getaways. The Chez Pauline gîte, set in a village house, is arranged over several levels and offers a comfortable setting for holidays with family or friends. On the ground floor, a cellar is available for storing bicycles and leisure equipment, as well as a washing machine. On the first level, the welcoming living area includes a lounge with games and books, kept cool in summer with a portable air conditioner, and a fully equipped open kitchen with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker and toaster.
A small covered terrace extends this space and allows you to enjoy the outdoors in complete tranquillity. From this living area, you access a first bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a desk, full-length mirror, wardrobe and storage shelves.
This bedroom has a separate toilet. On the second floor, a second air-conditioned bedroom features two single beds (80x200 cm) that can be joined to form a double bed (160x200 cm), with bedside lamps, wardrobe and shelving. You will also find a bathroom with bathtub, sink, shelves, mirrors, hairdryer and toilet. Please note that you can park in the free public car park in Murviel-lès-Montpellier just 2 minutes’ walk from the gîte. Shops are located 3 minutes away on foot.
A bus runs regularly to Montpellier. This gîte combines practicality, charm and an ideal location to explore the Hérault, between vineyards, garrigue and the coastline. Gîte bien entretenu, représentatif d'une maison de village.La chaleur a rendu le séjour moins confortable malgré les climatisations et ventilateurs.Le village est très intéressant pour les passionnés d'histoire locale; oppidum et ville gallo-romaine, habitat du moyen âge, etc...L'épicerie est très sympa avec ses produits locaux.

Notre séjour s'est déroulé pendant les vacances de printemps. Nous voulions découvrir Montpellier et sa région. Le gite est idéalement situé entre les gorges de l'Herault et le centre ville de Montpellier. Trés calme, proche d'un dépot de pain (excellent fournisseur) et d'une epicerie. Gite très bie...
