Our accommodation is located in the centre of the Sierras Subbéticas Cordobesas Natural Park, in an idyllic setting, at the foot of a mountain range with Mediterranean forest, surrounded by ancient oaks and with fantastic views of Pico Bermejo and La Tiñosa, the highest points of the province of Córdoba. In short, an ideal place for walking, cycling or just resting where you can hear a king owl at night, or a fox, even squirrels...

We have restored an old farmhouse and tried to respect the essence of a country house as much as possible, but with the conveniences that are currently demanded. Air conditioning in the 4 bedrooms on the first floor and in the living room, 100 mgb Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the property, 55-inch smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, etc. On the ground floor is a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with a 1.35 x 1.90 m bed, and on the first floor 2 double bedrooms, a triple bedroom and a quadruple bedroom.

Outside there is a 9x8-metre pool, with night lighting, barbecue area, outdoor bathroom with shower and several recreational areas, such as a room with a country kitchen and DJ area, Colombian hammocks and 8 sun loungers for sunbathing from April to October, as well as another bathroom with washing machine.

We have a 30x15m unpaved sports field with two indoor football goals, where we will soon install a small badminton/boleyball court and a basketball basket.

In addition, 25 metres away, we have a building, which on the top floor and with access from the street, has a large 150m2 space that can be used for parties or just as an addition to the house. There is a large rural fireplace in the middle of the living room, smartTV, bottle racks, gas cooker with a 1-metre-wide oven, video projector and screen, board games, armchairs and sofas for 15 people, as well as a large fireplace . On the ground floor there are 12 stables for horse lovers, a watering place and a cleaning room. PROPERTY NOT INCLUDED IN THE RESERVATION PRICE.

The property has an area of 21,000 m2, allowing you to explore every corner of the incredible Mediterranean forest around it.

You can call us at any time during your stay, or even before you arrive at the house, we will be happy to solve any of your questions or problems.
We can offer delicious paella, tapas making, home-made meals from the region, artisanal sweets, etc...
Take them to see the operation of one of the most important olive oil mills in the world located in our municipality. You can visit a factory where they make an exquisite traditional goat's cheese. or visit one of the white wine houses of the Montilla-Moriles denomination, 35 km from the house.
Recommend some of the numerous hiking or cycling routes that can be taken from there.
With stays of more than a week, we usually spend a day or two around the house to clean the pool, water the plants and talk to the tenants.

It is an ideal place to organise a special celebration, such as a wedding, christening, divorce, etc. as we have an outdoor space of 150 m2 with kitchen. We can hire a private chef for a party, a masseuse for a day of pampering and even a bus trip to one of the nearby cities to attend a flamenco show. If you are looking for a special day to organise an event, we can also help.

There are a few tapas bars within walking distance of the house where you can experience the real Andalusia with a fantastic meal accompanied by some of our delicious wines and oils.

VISITES OF LESS THAN ONE HOUR

Priego de Córdoba 4 km away, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, where you can see the Barrio de la Villa, the Balcón del Adarve and the Fuente del Rey, the royal butchers, the Moorish castle from the 13th and 14th centuries or the monumentality of the best Andalusian Baroque in its churches, such as the Church of the Ascension from the 16th century.

In Almedinilla, 12 km away, you can visit one of the best-preserved Roman villas in Andalusia, as well as the ecomuseum of the Caicena River, very close to the Cola de Caballo waterfalls, and the Iberian town of Cerro de la Cruz.

In the town of Cabra, 26 km from the house, is the Regional Hospital Infanta Margarita, a town very rich in heritage, such as the Municipal Auditorium, the Interpretation Centre of the Oil Train, the Hermitage of the Virgen de la Sierra from where you see much of Andalusia, or the Fuente del Río.
30 km away is Alcalá la Real, where you can visit the monumental complex Fortaleza de la Mota, one of the most impressive and best-preserved in Andalusia, along with the old part, where you can enjoy its streets and monuments.

Rute, famous for its mantecados and liqueurs, where you can visit the museums of Ham, Anis, Polvorón, etc, where you can get free tastings of their products, and is 24 km from the house. You can also visit La Garganta del Río la Hoz, about 20 km from the house, or the ancient Stone Oak declared a natural monument by the Environment Ministry of the Government of Andalusia, just 2 km from the house.

Neither should you miss Iznajar, 40 km away, a town completely surrounded by one of Andalusia's largest reservoirs, with the beach of Valdearenas, and where you can practice water sports such as rafting on the Genil River or kayaking.

About 65 km away is Antequera, where you can visit one of southern Europe's most impressive geological formations, El Torcal de Antequera, in particular in Villanueva de la Concepción, in addition to the city. As well as the archaeological complex of the dolmens of Antequera, a world heritage site.

Visits MORE THAN ONE HOUR

The beaches of the Costa del Sol in Malaga are 120 km from the house, where you can visit the Picasso Museum, La Alcazaba or the port of Malaga.

The city of Ronda at 155 km, famous for its historical centre, bullring or impressive Tajo.

The city of Cordoba at 100 km, a World Heritage Site where you can visit the Cathedral-Mosque or Medinat Azahara at 12 km from the city:

The city of Granada, where the Alhambra Generalife is located, 86 km. If you are interested in visiting the second most visited monument in Spain, you should buy tickets online well in advance as they sell out very quickly.

And finally, we recommend visiting the historic centre cities of Úbeda and Baeza in Jaén, 135 km away, world heritage cities.
