The hamlet of Comberougé is located 2 km from Brassac, at the foot of Mont Redon, in a natural setting typical of the Tarn mountains.
This area offers a landscape of cool forests, winding country roads, and authentic villages that appeal to those seeking peace and wide-open spaces. By staying here, you'll enjoy privileged access to the Rochers du Sidobre, a unique site in Europe where improbable granite boulders seem to be balanced precariously amidst the woods.
Brassac, nestled on the banks of the Agout River, invites you to discover its old bridge, lively streets, shops, and charming mountain village atmosphere. More broadly, the Monts de Lacaune and the large lakes of the Tarn region offer a wealth of activities, from supervised swimming at Lake Raviège to water sports and beautiful hikes.
Castres, with its Gourjade Park, swimming pool, ice rink, and colorful facades lining the Agout River, is about fifteen minutes away. Converted from a former stone outbuilding, the cottage offers a warm and functional interior for a stay for two or three people. The ground floor is arranged around a large 32 m² living room with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen including a ceramic hob and oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, etc. The lounge area, furnished with a television and a sofa bed, provides a pleasant space to relax after a day outdoors.
A shower room with shower and toilet completes this level. The sleeping area is located on a 16 m² mezzanine, accessible via a wooden staircase, under a warm, exposed beam ceiling: - bedroom with a 140x190 cm bed - bedroom with a 90x190 cm bed A cot can be provided upon request. Outside, a 600 m² garden and a front patio area allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the hamlet, whether for a meal, a barbecue, or relaxing in a deckchair.
