Medieval bastide built in the Middle Ages, Cordes-sur-Ciel truly deserves its name, as the village, built on a rocky peak, emerges from the mists enveloping the surrounding valleys (Cérou and Laurausse valleys).
Cordes is best explored on foot, a labyrinth of cobbled streets, ancient houses, every stone has a story to tell.
This small, renovated village house, designed like a loft, can comfortably accommodate 2 people with its kitchen/living area, a lounge with a sofa, and a sleeping area.
A bathroom with a toilet completes the space.
Access to the cottage is via a narrow alley after a few slightly uneven steps, but don't worry, it's typical of the streets of Cordes-sur-Ciel! On this level, you'll find the fully equipped kitchen/living area with a 2-burner hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, filter coffee maker, Senseo pod coffee maker, and toaster.
From this living area, the door on the left leads to the bathroom, equipped with a shower cubicle, a vanity unit, and a toilet.
Next is the lounge area with its sofa and internet TV, and beyond that, the sleeping area with a 140x190cm bed and a dressing closet.
A French door opening onto a balcony offers a magnificent view of the Laurausse valley.
The laundry area is located in the garage, just below your loft.

Ce superbe petit gîte est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et on s y sent comme à la maison. L équipement est complet. L accueil des propriétaires est parfait et ils sont à l écoute des demandes et arrangeants pour certaines choses. Bien placé pour visiter ce magnifique village. Je recommande vivement.
