The property is a fully restored and modernised, three bedroom townhouse, located in the village's walls and on the most unchanged, medieval street. As well as a fully equipped kitchen and lounge, guests also have full use of a traditional Basque Txoko, with wood burner and kitchenette. There are numerous bodegas, coffee shops, artesanal delicatessens and viewing points minutes walk from the front door.

Laguardia itself is the largest village in the region of Rioja Alavesa and one of the most stunning. It is a place known throughout the world for its fine wines as well as the birthplace of Samaniego, the renowned fabulist.

The village is featured on the Spainish tourism authorities website as one of the county's most spectacular and was recently voted one of the most beautiful places in the world by National Geographic Magazine. Weather guests are interested in architecture, history, eno tourism, wildlife, hiking, or simply exploring a lesser known region of Spain, there is always something to see or do.

If you fancy a trip to a city, the Capital city of La Rioja, Logroño, is a short car or bus ride away (20 minutes). Logroño is the Capital of La Rioja and full of fantastic restaurantsand things to do for all ages.
