welcome to Matera a unique work of art in the world. the green gecko apartment is immersed in the beautiful historical setting of the Sasso Caveoso, where it is possible to live in the typical rock habitat that gave rise to human life in the rugged rock territory called "tufo". It is an honor for us to host you in a typical house carved into the rock for an experience of indescribable charm in a city out of the ordinary.

In this spirit we have tried to preserve the style and essence of typical homes, without too many luxuries and frills.
