Location & surroundings
Our beautiful village of Ransel is nestled in the heart of nature. This is where you’ll find our renovated holiday rental. Here, you can enjoy country life to the fullest. It’s ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet and who appreciates a private atmosphere.
Hike along the beautiful Premium Rhein Steig or the Wisper Trail, or simply enjoy a lovely boat tour on the Rhine. The Rhine Valley, with its beautiful vineyards, wine taverns, and castles, is just a few minutes’ drive away.
Our main town, Lorch am Rhein, has its own train station. The various areas can be reached via bus and on-demand bus services. After a long hike or wine tasting, you can have a comfortable ride back.
Our little village of Ransel also has plenty to offer. A lovely rural museum featuring the delicious “Restaurant LandArt-Ransel,” the Arz fashion boutique, and our “Traumlädchen” shop with regional products. The family-owned brewery “Rheingauer Gutsbräu” is also located here.
Larger towns in the area, such as Nastätten (approx. 15-minute drive), Rüdesheim (approx. 30-minute drive), Lahnstein/Koblenz, Wiesbaden, and Mainz (all approx. 45-minute drives) are easily accessible.

Wir haben die Wohnungen als Übernachtungsmöflichkeit nach einem Konzert auf der Loreley gebucht. Es war perfekt! Die Wohnung ist toll ausgestattet, bietet viel Platz und die Vermieter sind sehr nett.
