This privately owned, luxury, fully heated accommodation consists of:
LOUNGE
Light, airy and modern with door leading to decked area overlooking the beautiful River Avon. Flat screen TV with Freesat, DVD/CD. Books, CDs, DVDs for your enjoyment. Central heating and cosy coal effect electric fire.
DINING AREA
Magnificent views from windows to the river and meadow. Bird watchers' paradise with, to mention just a few, Kingfishers, Herons and Goldfinches.
MASTER BEDROOM WITH EN-SUITE
Double bed, fitted wardrobe, hairdryer, en-suite with shower cubicle. Bed linen and towels provided.
BEDROOM 2
Twin beds, fitted wardrobe, bed linen provided.
MAIN BATHROOM
Modern, well fitted bathroom with bath and shower. Towels provided.
KITCHEN
Fully appointed open plan kitchen, light and airy, with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
DECKING
South facing deck with furniture. Perfect to watch the river and for outdoor dining. Grassy area leading down to the river. Parking at the side for 2 cars.
RIVER TAXI
Three river taxis operate from Easter to end of October. They depart from the opposite side of the river, accessible by walking across the foot bridge and take you to the Marina in the centre of Stratford town. This is a delightful way of seeing the River Avon around Stratford-upon-Avon.
All bookings are made with the owners, Rob and Denny, who will ensure that your stay at Bend in the River Lodge is delightful. They will assist you with any enquiries and there is a comprehensive range of leaflets and maps and an information book in the lodge to help you plan your visits to local attractions.
Many people return time and time again to the Lodge once they have sampled the wonderful peaceful riverside location, with all the attractions of Stratford being less than a mile away and close to the Cotswolds.

Tranquil location, lovely setting looking out to the river Avon and fields on one side. The property was clean,comfortable and well equipped. The site was beautifully kept, with an area for dog walkers and a boat slip if you wished to take to the waters. Very close to Stratford upon Avon for sightse...

Very beautiful location so peaceful close to the river. Lovely lodge very homely and had everything you could need or want for break away. Beds were very comfortable, nice size TV . Kitchen well stocked . We would highly recommend the lodge . Good communication with the owner.
