House & grounds
Welcome to our land of 7 acres (7000sq.m.) and our new modern house (160sq.m.), with an uninterrupted panoramic view of many kilometers to forests and a small mountain. We live in the independent ground floor apartment and we are renting the other two floors (1st and 2nd), which are completely independent from the ground floor apartment (different entrance).
Location & surroundings
We live in Agios Antonios village, in the eastern outskirts of Thessaloniki, on the road to Halkidiki.
The village and nearby attractions Agios Antonios (belongs to the municipality of Thermi) is a quiet -800 inhabitants- village in the outskirts of Thessaloniki (25kms from the city), 17kms from “Macedonia” airport, IKEA department store and “Mediterranean Cosmos” shopping center (the biggest in northern Greece with 250 shops, cafes and restaurants) 20kms from the first beaches of Halkidiki (Epanomi, Nea Iraklia, Nea Kalikratia etc), 14kms from famous Petralona cave, 12kms from the water fun park “Waterland” and 4kms from Saint Paisios/Souroti monastery. It is an ideal base from which to explore Thessaloniki, Halkidiki and Central Macedonia.
The bus stop for Thessaloniki is just 100m. from the house. In the village there are two taverns, two cafes and two mini-markets, just 200m. from the house.
The main attractions of the village is the “Women’s co-operative of Agios Antonios” (they produce traditional pies, jams, pasta etc. and they operate a cozy wooden café in the entrance of the village, the auction house and outdoor sculpture park “Antiques House”, the main church of the village and the small church “Profitis Ilias” in the top of the mountain, with the 360o view toward mount Olympus, Thessaloniki etc, which can be reached through car (rough road) or a 30min beautiful hiking route..

Wir haben uns in diesem geräumigen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieter, die ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück leben, sind reizend und überaus hilfsbereit. Einfach toll!
