The apartment is located in the exclusive district of New Home. New home is characterized by numerous late nineteenth villas and apartment buildings from the time of the turn of the century (1900). The location offers good transport links to the city center and all events, attractions and also to the hospital on the campus.
Around the Neuenheimer marketplace there are numerous restaurants and cafes. Market time is always on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Neuenheimer market is one of the most beautiful and charming farmer's markets around Heidelberg. All kinds of shops are also accessible on foot.
They live in a listed apartment house from the turn of the century in a latter day, but the history owed atmosphere. Everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Plenty of room and loved the historic feel of the place with extremely high ceilings and lovely windows. The only confusion on my part was that when we asked if there was parking prior to our visit, we didn't understand that it would be a permit to park where ever you can find a spot on the street.
