There are 8 golf courses in and around Orleans , riding stables 5 kms away , canoeing or kayaking on the Loire and boat trips on the Canals ( Orleans and Briare ) Some marvellous walks and rides along the 2 paths by the River Loire ( Unesco World Heritage ) You can also take a gentle balloon flight and see the countryside and chateaux hidden among the forests from the air.
