Summary:
A quaint cottage in the heart of Cambridge, just steps from Parker's Piece, in a historic city centre location. The entrance to the property is in a private courtyard at street level and a spiral staircase from the sitting room leads to two bedrooms on the 1st floor. Please note the rear backs onto a pub garden, which may be noisy on weekend nights. We offer OFF-SITE FREE PARKING for one vehicle, approx. 5-min drive or 10-min walk away.
The Space:
A warm and cosy cottage that has been recently renovated.
The entrance vestibule on the ground floor leads directly into the sitting room with a newly installed modern fireplace and 2 sofas. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and one bathroom with a tub/shower. On the ground floor through the sitting room there is a separate kitchen/breakfast room fitted with modern units and appliances. The big kitchen window overlooks the private outdoor courtyard at the back of the property. A rear lobby has a cloakroom and an external access door to the courtyard, ideal for late summer evening drinks.
A member of the House of Luchini will always be available to answer queries and help. Booking with us gives you access to discounts and/or freebies at local cafés and attraction!
Kindly let us know in advance if you'll be bringing a service or emotional support animal.
The Neighborhood:
The property is adjacent Regent Street and in close proximity to Gonville Place, on a 'no thorough road'. It is in walking distance of the train station and City centre with a variety of Restaurants and bars along Regent Street.
Mill Road is only a 5 minutes walk away with many independent shops and Restaurants to satisfy everyone's taste.
Property backs onto a pub garden and therefore it can be a little noisy at the weekends
Getting Around:
The property is right in the City centre so we recommend walking around or if you want to feel like a true 'Cantabrigian', hiring a bicycle.
Other Things to Note:
Once your booking is confirmed, rest assured that our price rates include fresh linen, soft towels, and the final cleaning fee. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an extra charge. You’ll have the entire property to yourselves throughout your stay. Enjoy the convenience of self check-in and settle into a professionally cleaned, well-maintained space complete with fluffy pillows, crisp bed linen, and all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Kindly let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing a service or emotional support animal.
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW THE HOUSE RULES PRIOR TO BOOKING. We have a strict policy against parties or events of any kind on the premises. The lead guest must complete the online check-in form, agree to our Terms & Conditions, and upload at least 1 ID before check-in. Forms must be filled at least 24 hours prior to the check in date. We operate a self-check-in system and cannot meet our guests to check their IDs and verify guests in person. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.
SAFETY & SECURITY: Please make sure you close and lock all the windows and doors when you are not on the property. If the property is found left unsecured (windows or doors open/unlocked) during your stay and/or at check-out, we retain the right to charge a penalty fee. A fee will also apply if the keys are misplaced during your stay or not returned to the lockbox at check-out. Thank you, we really appreciate your co-operation!
A £350 security deposit hold will be placed on your card two days before check-out and released after your stay, provided no issues are identified. Funds typically return within 3–5 working days, depending on your bank. This does not apply to Airbnb bookings. For stays of 10 nights or longer, an interim housekeeping service or linen change must be arranged during your stay. Failure to do so may result in additional charges at check-out. Please do not wash our linens or towels, as they require professional laundering. Charges may apply for unauthorised washing, excessive soiling, or replacement of damaged items. Additional charges may also apply if the property is left in an unreasonable condition at check-out, such as excessive rubbish being left behind or dishes and cookware not being cleared away or loaded into the dishwasher.

This lovely little cottage is perfect. The location is great, it sits on the edge of a lovely big park and is a very short walk to supermarkets, restaurants and pubs. It is clean, bright and very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything, it is very well equipped. Thankyou for a lovely stay I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely location. Quite spacious . Parking about a 10 min walk away. I would not recommend if you have mobility problems as stairs are very steep and steps narrow. Otherwise pub noise was barely noticeable and cottage lovely

Fantastic location in centre of Cambridge, easy walking around the city and access to all amenities, great pub next door. Mattresses and bedding need updating as past their prime and hard otherwise all good.
