This delightful bungalow situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular village of Brancaster offers light and contemporary accommodation with a fully enclosed garden. Ideal for one or two couples or a family looking to be close to the beach, the North Norfolk coastal path and Brancaster Staithe sailing harbour. Dog-friendly and child-friendly, it is a great base for a fabulous holiday in North Norfolk, whatever time of year you choose to visit.
This comfortable, detached bungalow features a spacious sitting/dining room with open fire for cooler evenings. During the warmer months, the bi-fold doors lead through the small conservatory out onto the rear garden. The well-equipped kitchen is light and bright with dual aspect windows and both bedrooms are a good size, with windows overlooking the garden. Dog owners will appreciate the outside tap and conservatory, organised for walkers and dogs to clean paws and shed dirty boots in comfort before entering and relaxing in the house.
Quietly located, a two minute walk through the cul-de-sac and onto the Branodunum fields (ideal and safe for dog walks) brings you to a left turn and a short walk brings you to the Ship pub/hotel/restaurant and onto a scenic walk to Brancaster's beautiful sandy (and dog friendly) beach where you can elect to take a picnic and explore or sit amongst the dunes. A right turn and a 15 minute walk brings you to the picturesque and bustling sailing harbour of Brancaster Staithe where you can buy fresh local seafood and call in at The Jolly Sailors pub or The White Horse for locally brewed ales and award-winning food.
The Royal West Norfolk Golf Course is also located at Brancaster although advance booking is recommended. With perfect walking opportunities and bird watching at the next village at the RSPB nature reserve at Titchwell, you are perfectly located to explore the whole of the coast. The Coasthopper bus stop is in easy walking distance from the property, so if you want to leave the car at home and do some exploring, then use this wonderful facility which also welcomes dogs aboard too! Or bring your bikes and enjoy a week of cycling the quiet lanes. With so many dog-friendly beaches and pubs and restaurants right along this stretch of coast, your pampered pooch can look forward to a relaxing time too!
Additional Information
Four well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). More dogs by arrangement.
