Located in the heart of nature at an altitude of 850m in the commune of Labaroche, our 90m2 single storey gîte is designed to accommodate 6 people.
A large living space of 40 m2 including a living room, a fireplace and an equipped kitchen, allows you to enjoy the bright atmosphere offered by large windows.
The location of the gîte not only offers a panoramic view of the Alsace plain and the Black Forest, but is ideally situated for exploring central Alsace around Colmar.
The accommodation we offer is in the mountains, at the foot of the Hohnack Castle, at the top of the village.
It adjoins the owners' house while remaining independent. Nature and hiking enthusiasts (on foot, mountain bike, snowshoe, etc.) will find departures from marked circuits on site. The more athletic can also reach the Lac Blanc ski resort located 20 minutes by car, in summer (bike park, hike, climbing ...) as in winter (alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledging, alpi ...).
You will discover the Vosges ridges and their many lakes, with a must stop in one of the many farm-inn sector offering local specialties. Those interested in cultural and historical heritage will enjoy some of the most beautiful villages in France, along the wine route (Kaysersberg, Eguisheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, not forgetting Colmar…), but also the historic site of Linen, high place of fights in 14-18. As for lovers of the Alsatian tradition, the many Christmas markets that light up the entire month of December will amaze and delight you.
You are spoiled for choice! Weekly rental: - Low season = 500 € - Medium season = 575 € - High season = 650 € (Weekend or other rate, on request) During your stay: - Provide a deposit of 500 € (check or cash) - Optional cleaning (50 € package, on request) Description: - Area of 90m² for 6 people - 1 living room: open fitted kitchen, living room, living room - 3 bedrooms including a master suite with shower room - 1 independent bathroom - 2 toilets including 1 independent - 1 entry - 1 cellar - 1 cellar - 1 covered and furnished outdoor terrace - 1 large garden on the edge of the forest - 2 private parking spaces Various - Electric underfloor heating - Additional pellet stove - Animals accepted subject to good cohabitation with those of the owners (1 dog, 1 cat, 1 hen, 2 goats - they are all nice and calm, they do not have access to the grounds of the gîte) - Non-smoking cottage on the whole property.

We stayed in le petit Hohnack for 2 weeks (last week of June and first week of July 2022). The pictures and the description of the gite are very accurate. They show a well equiped, very comfortable and light/modern house.
We did not miss anything: the kitchen has everything one needs like at home. ...

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à Labaroche. La maison est très jolie et très bien équipée, ainsi que la grande terrasse et la vue sur la plaine d'Alsace.
Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles si besoin.
Les animaux de la maison sont aussi supers. On a adoré le chien qui est très gentil et toujours "content" !
Si vous voulez passer des moments au calme, c'est l'idéal !
