A romantic rustic cottage with a large terrace offering a fantastic lake view, nestled right among olive groves. The cottage was renovated in March/April 2024. A spacious kitchen-dining area invites you to cook and relax. Two cosy, lovingly furnished bedrooms on the upper floor (steep stairs!) and a small living room complete the feel-good atmosphere. If you’d like to watch the sunset across the lake from your terrace in the evening, this is the perfect spot for you.
For the comfort of all our guests, we insist that this is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted either inside the house or on the terrace.
The lake is within walking distance.
From the public car park, walk about 50 metres through the narrow alley of the medieval village of Venzo to the Rustico. The entire village centre is a designated historic site, as all the buildings still stand within the outer walls that were erected more than 300 years ago. Once you arrive at the rustico, climb the stone staircase to the front door.
When you enter the rustico, you’ll find yourself in the spacious kitchen-diner. Here you’ll find a dining table as well as a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, hob, capsule espresso machine, milk frother, and toaster. Through the double glass doors, you can step directly onto the lake-facing terrace. Next to it is the small living room. From here, too, you can step directly onto the lake-facing terrace through a set of double glass doors. This level is completed by a small bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink.
The large terrace on the lake side (approx. 2 m x 6 m) faces west. Since the entrance and the living area of the rustico are located one floor above street/path level, it is technically a balcony. However, because it spans the entire width of the rustico, it feels more like a terrace.
The terrace is furnished with a small lounge table, two small armchairs, a small sofa, and a parasol.
In the morning, it’s still in the shade here, and around noon the sun comes around the house and stays all day until it sets behind the hills on the other side of the lake in the evening.
A narrow, steep wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. The first bedroom on the left is furnished with a 1.80 m x 2.00 m double bed and a wardrobe, and has a window facing the lake. From the bed, you can watch the sailors and kite surfers. Behind a curtain, you’ll find useful items such as warm blankets. Straight ahead, you’ll reach the second bedroom, which has both a window facing the lake and a window facing the olive groves. This room is also furnished with a 1.80 m x 2.00 m double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a small writing desk.
Restaurants and café-bars by the lake are within a 10–15-minute walk. The local pizzeria is just a 3-minute walk away.
The beaches along the lake (pebble beaches—as is typical throughout Lake Garda) are accessible to everyone, with the exception of two that are operated by hotels under concession. You can always find a spot; if one cove is too crowded, just head to the next one.
Hiking trails to Prada and up Monte Baldo, as well as mountain bike trails, start near the rustico. Down by the lake, you’ll find all kinds of water sports, from windsurfing and kitesurfing to sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and motorboat rentals.
Unfortunately, the tourist tax of 2.50 euros per person per day cannot be billed through FeWo and must be paid in cash on site.
Please note:
– the Rustico does not have private parking; public parking spaces are within walking distance (various parking zones 50–300 metres away)
- smoking is prohibited inside the Rustico as well as on the balcony/terrace
- there is no heating
- special caution is advised with small children, as this is a historic Rustico with very low parapet heights on the upper floor

Die Aussicht auf den See ist einmalig. Die Ausstattung ist angemessen und ausreichend. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, das Einchecken unkompliziert. Leider war es nicht so ruhig wie erhofft. Die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft bellen oft und anhaltend. Ober- und Unterhalb der Terrasse ist jeweils eine weitere Terrasse. Das ist bei Belegung der Wohnungen doch sehr störend.

Der Seeblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön, wir hatten wieder eine Woche mit über 30 Lufttemperatur und 23 Wassertemperatur. Die ruhige Lage am Dorfrand war sehr schön und entspannend.

Nette, helle und ruhige Wohnung, zweckmäßige, einfache Ausstattung, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Schöne und große Terrasse, traumhafter Blick auf den See! Pizzeria in unmittelbarer Nähe.Die Anfahrt ist nur für geübte Autofahrer (enge Straßen). Trotzdem: Gerne wieder!
