The Centrocentro holiday rental is an apartment of approximately 50 square metres, with air conditioning and independent heating. From there, heading east, you can reach Avellino’s historic centre in 10 minutes, where the Cathedral is located, along with the nearby Carlo Gesualdo Theatre and the Cimarosa Conservatory. In the opposite direction are the Villa Comunale, the Irpino Museum, and the long Viale dei Platani, a popular spot for evening strolls in the summer. The property is a 4-minute walk from the Avellino Courthouse, across from which stands the monumental complex of the former Bourbon Prison, and not far away is the Partenio Cinema-Theater. In the opposite direction from these landmarks, less than 5 minutes away, is the bus station. To reach Avellino, the only public transport option is the bus, which connects the city with other major towns in the region and province.
Specifically, those departing from Naples should go to the bus terminal at the Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi and take the Air Campania bus; there are numerous departures, and several routes go to Avellino—any one will do; To reach Centrocentro, after arriving at the terminal on Via Colombo, cross the street to take Via F.lli Del Gaudio or, turning left, Via De Conciliis. Follow either street to the end, and you’ll reach the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue along this street; after passing the Villa Comunale on your right and the next building with a portico, you’ll reach the crossroads with Via F. Iannaccone.
