There are an abundance of beautiful free public beaches plus private beaches that charge a small nominal fee to usually include sun beds, towels and wait service.

The world heritage UNESCO site of the Famagusta walled city is a 10 minute car ride away where you will find, shopping (both malls and cobbled streets), restaurants, bars, culture and history. Great for people watching, sit at one of the many bars for a turkish coffee (or a cappuccino) and watch the world go by.
