The very quiet villa is located on an approx. 15,000 sqm plot on the outskirts of Puntagorda at an altitude of 780m above sea level. N. After extensive renovation, the original old Canarian house offers a high standard of living and unobtrusive luxury in a mixture of local style elements and more modern furnishing components.

The completely new outdoor area is divided into terraces and nestles harmoniously into the landscape thanks to its organically shaped natural stone walls.
Enjoy the almost 5 x 10m heated pool (1.40m deep) and sunbathe on the marble covered pool terraces (unique on La Palma!) or lounge in the sun-protected pool house, where e.g. B. A fireplace is available for cooler evening hours (but not to be used if there is a risk of forest fires).
Or explore the garden and the spacious grounds. The vast majority is easily accessible, here you will find citrus trees, stone fruit trees, fig, almond and avocado and olive trees, banana trees, various types of palm trees, succulents and much more. Discover your favorite places: relax in the pool house with a view of nature and the sea, fascinated by the sunsets on the spacious "balcony", lean back on one of the terrace places or with meals, e.g. B. in front of the outdoor kitchen with gas grill and wood-fired pizza oven.
The house consists of two living areas. In the upper part (approx. 115 sqm living space) there is a living room, winter garden, balcony and kitchen as well as two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. There is room for two to four adults and a child. There is also a retreat under the gable roof for those quieter moments.
In the lower area there is a 45sqm apartment with a light-flooded living room, bedroom (double bed) & bathroom and a spacious terrace. There is space for two adults and one child (extra bed).
The spatial separation between the upper and lower areas provides some seclusion and privacy, ideal for the use of two or three couples or for families with children (above) and grandparents (below).
The apartment does not have its own kitchen and can therefore only be booked. An occupancy by two people is assumed. If there are four of you and want to book the apartment, the price is for 6 people. Please select the appropriate number of people when booking.
The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. On cooler days, the underfloor heating creates a pleasant living environment in all rooms. Only the living area of the apartment in the lower area is heated by a fireplace.
When renovating and furnishing the building, we paid attention to the use of building materials that are as natural as possible and that do without unnecessary chemical additives. All beds and cupboards, the kitchen as well as windows and doors were made by a local carpenter in solid wood. Solid wood floorboards in the bedrooms and in the upper living room create a cozy atmosphere. Hand-knotted kilim carpets complete the picture. The kitchen, hallway and wet areas are covered with cement tiles based on the old Canarian material use. The living room in the apartment is covered with Spanish marble slabs (Crema Marfil).
The 90x200cm mattresses are suitable for allergy sufferers and offer firm comfort (no continuous mattress in the double beds). The sofa bed (60x200cm) is suitable for children up to 8 years or 140cm tall.
The concept of sustainability continues with the energy supply. A solar system ensures the power supply and operates two heat pumps, which provide hot water and the heating of the living rooms and the pool. In the event of longer periods of bad weather (unlikely) and peak loads, the public power grid is available for protection.
The pool heating can heat the water to approx. 20-24 degrees from autumn to spring, in summer higher temperatures can be reached even without heating. The water temperature depends on the prevailing weather conditions and can therefore not be guaranteed.
A fully equipped kitchen is available in the house to satisfy the culinary needs. With the gas cooking station from Lacanche (traditional French manufacturer), even ambitious hobby cooks will get their money's worth. Gas grill and pizza oven in the outdoor kitchen complete the offer.
Throughout the house you have wireless internet connection (WLAN at no extra charge). In both living areas you can transmit music and internet radio to a powerful loudspeaker using your mobile device (smart phone, labtop, tablet). In the "retreat room" (gable room) there is a TV with satellite reception.
The Villa Relva Larga and its guests are looked after by the on-site service La Palma. Theresa and Pascal welcome you in Puntagorda, accompany you to the house and assist you during your stay with advice and action. If required and by arrangement, Theresa and Pascal can provide additional services (e.g. Shopping service, intermediate cleaning, child care, etc.) can be booked for a fee.

The photos of this place do not do it justice. The spaces inside anod outside are very pleasant and the view is gorgeous. The sauna, gym and pool are great! Nice walking from the house.
