Location & surroundings
Il Poderino is a newly renovated former stable set in an olive grove in the small village of Valdibrana, just 5 km above the beautiful medieval city of Pistoia and only 30 minutes from Florence.
Valdibrana is a quiet village overlooking Pistoia, an underrated medieval gem with impressive town walls, a magnificent Duomo and Baptistery, the Duke’s Palace, excellent shopping, lively cafés and restaurants, and a weekly market.
The area around the property is known for producing some of Tuscany’s finest olive oil, and the proprietor has won several awards for his — a lovely detail for olive-oil enthusiasts.
