Within a radius of ten kilometers you will not have enough time for a week to discover the cultural or natural wonders that surround the town of Montfort. Its castle of course at the foot of the Dordogne, La bastide de Domme and La Roque-Gageac built between cliff and river (Two of the most beautiful villages in France), the castles of Castelnaud and its museum of the War of the Middle Ages, that de Marqueyssac and its famous hanging gardens, that of Fayrac, the castle of Beynac (still one of the most beautiful villages in France). Here are places that will not leave you indifferent. Five kilometers away, the medieval town of Sarlat will charm you with its architectural and historical heritage. Outdoor destination par excellence, with its hundred kilometers of cycle paths, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, canoeing down the Dordogne river, visiting or exploring caves, fishing in white or still water.

Endroit parfait pour des vacances dans le Périgord noir. Maison très calme (en retrait de la route principale), très bien équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut pour faire la cuisine et pour l'agrément (par exemple, merci pour le jeu de boules), fonctionnelle et très bien aménagée. Grand jardin en contrebas avec des arbres fruitiers, très agréable. Nous reviendrions volontiers.

Maison idéalement située près des sites importants de la région. Maison agréable, même par temps caniculaire, très bel intérieur et bien équipée. Etant venu avec notre Staffy nous avons apprécié le grand terrain ombragé et la proximité de ballades sans voiture. Nous avons apprécié cette location et ne pouvons que la recommander.

The village location was superb. Picturesque. Quiet. Local bar restaurant excellent. Short drive to the river and kayaking opportunities.
The property was more than adequately equipped. Lovely gardens and outdoor relaxing spaces. Thoughtful additions such as bbq.
