Laid out over 3 floors, the wide staircases are a feature, particularly the winding staircase between the first and second floors (note; they're a bit too wide for standard stair gates, so may not be ideal for young children).
The Living Room is positioned on the first floor, as was the norm for the time, with 3 large windows that let the light stream in.
The house offers 4 bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Family Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, a WC on each floor, full gas central heating, high pressure hot water system, Primary Bedroom with ensuite, WiFi, Smart TV, travel cot, high chair, iron and ironing board, hair dryers, linen and towels.

From the top floor there are views over the roof tops to Arthur's Seat from the front and across the Firth of Forth to Fife at the rear.

We loved this property! Not only was it clean and beautiful, but its location lent itself to a quick walk to morning coffee or afternoon local pizza, and a bus stop to get into town. Thank you, Patrick, for an amazing stay and consistent communication!

We stayed in Portobello for a week and this house was absolutely perfect for us! Our only slight complaint (not really a complaint) was the lack of fans during the heat wave. We knew going in that AC wasn't a thing in most homes but not having atleast a fan to help was rough but we ended up buying 2 while there and leaving them for the host for future guests.

Superbe maison dans un superbe emplacement ! La maison est pratique, bien conçue et très bien équipée pour l'accueil de groupe de plusieurs personnes. Patrick est un hôte disponible et très arrangeant ! Le salon à l'étage est idéal pour refaire le monde en s'hydratant. C'est vraiment un endroit douillet où l'on s'y sent bien ....
