Welcome to Sunka Ecogîtes, a new addition to the area. You’ll be staying at the Mokuzai cottage, located in a natural setting just outside Limoux (on a two-hectare estate).
We offer a rejuvenating, ethical, and sustainable stay in cottages built with respect for the environment, using natural and healthy materials.
Limoux, known for its white linen, will be your starting point for exploring the many sites of the Cathar region located nearby: Saint-Hilaire Abbey, the city of Carcassonne, the village of Alet-les-Bains, Arques Castle, as well as whitewater sports in the Upper Aude Valley. Numerous shops are less than 5 minutes away.
On-site, you’ll enjoy the large panoramic terrace with views of the Pyrenees, complete with outdoor furniture. Private above-ground pool (4.90 x 3 m, depth 1.20 m, secured with an alarm and removable crash barriers) featuring all-natural salt water treatment.
On the property, there is a reception area where you can get information about various tours in the area, organised in partnership with the tourist office. A secure storage area for bicycles is also available.

Excellent well equipped accomodation in a quiet location with a small prívate pool.We had a small problem with the pool, but this was quickly addressed by th owners.Be aware that in the current heatwave there is no air conditioning and the gîte gets very hot. Careful positioning of fans and shutters...
