Sugar Hut by Tiny Away is tucked away in Colchester, a picturesque city in northeastern Essex, England. Our tiny house is situated 5 minutes from the A12, 10 minutes from the historic center of Colchester, and less than an hour from the vibrant pulse of London.
Nearby, High Woods Country Park features lush woodlands, meadows, and trails for walking and cycling. Colchester Zoo showcases an array of animals, interactive exhibits, and exciting experiences. Just a short distance away, Dedham Vale offers stunning countryside views and charming landscapes, ideal for nature walks and exploration.
A snug 252-square-foot tiny home is nestled on a 25-acre farm, surrounded by fields and woodland. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing mobile homes
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas. For safety, we recommend staying on marked paths and avoiding horses and other lodges.

The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city.
The directions could have been clearer, there’s no mention that I could see of the farms name however this was quickly resolved by a 1 minute phone call to the host.
