"Markaida's Corner" is a 225 m2 house spread over 3 floors; the ground floor consists of a double bedroom with a double bed (which can be separated) as well as two single sofa beds, a built-in closet, and a television.
This same floor also features a bathroom with a shower, a gym, and a washing machine and dryer. On the ground floor, you’ll find an open-concept kitchen connected to the living and dining areas, bathrooms, and a small pantry.
On the top floor, you’ll find the master bedroom with a double bed (which can be separated) and a single sofa bed, a TV, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a shower. On this same floor, there are two additional bedrooms, both with two single beds and a closet; one of the bedrooms also has a TV. There is also a bathroom with a shower.
The entire house has central heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, and free private parking.
Outdoors
On this same floor, outside, you’ll find the “Chill Out” area on the glass-enclosed porch, another extendable dining table, a heated pool, a barbecue, a garden, and a children’s play area (swings, basketball court, ping-pong table).
Location & surroundings
“El Rincón de Markaida” is a house located on the slopes of Mount Jata, in the rural area of the municipality of Mungia. It’s a very quiet and safe area made up of farmhouses.
It’s the ideal place to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature, enjoying spectacular beaches just a short distance away—such as “Playa de Plentzia,” “Playa de Bakio,” and “Playa de Armintza”—where you can participate in water sports. You can also go hiking right from the house without needing to take the car, allowing you to explore Mount Jata and its breathtaking views.
Other notable attractions include San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Butrón Castle, the Suspension Bridge, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Aixerrota Cliffs. All while, of course, enjoying our world-renowned Basque cuisine.

Dit huis is zelfs beter dan de beschrijving en foto's doen vermoeden. Wij verbleven met twee gezinnen en hadden vier keurige slaapvertrekken en dito saniraire voorzieningen. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst met een duidelijke uitleg van huis en omgeving. Bij vragen was eigenaar enthousiast om een oplossing aan te dragen.
