The property is a 'double upper' villa (the apartment covers the 1st and 2nd floors of the property), built in the 19th century with period features throughout including a coal fire which is a lovely treat during the winter.

Although a traditional property it is equipped for the modern traveller with WiFi and broadband internet access and we offer a selection of books, videos and DVDs for use during our guest's stay.

The property would suit groups of couples or families as it is a flexible accommodation and we also offer a high chair and travel cot for families with toddlers.

Although we are close to the city centre the Upper Villa is in a predominantly residential area which means a peaceful nights sleep! We have a fantastic selection of local shops, bars and restaurants which cater for the hungry traveller!
