This new, beautifully designed 62-square-meter holiday apartment in southern Trier features modern yet cosy furnishings. The two-story house is located on a quiet side street where you can almost always find a nearby free parking spot.
The city centre is within walking distance—just over 10 minutes—but you can also take the bus from the nearby bus stop, which takes you to the city centre, the train station, or the many sights. It’s a 2-minute walk to the Südbahnhof, which is particularly convenient for commuters to Luxembourg (trains run every 30 minutes). Shopping options are nearby, and the closest restaurant (“Altes Brauhaus”) is just a 5-minute walk uphill from the house.
The apartment consists of a living room with a 1.60-meter-wide sofa bed and a large TV (SMART TV), a bedroom with a 1.60-meter-wide French bed, a bathroom with natural light and a spacious shower, and, last but not least, a well-equipped kitchen where the table comfortably seats four people for meals. The windows in the living room and kitchen offer views of small, well-kept gardens and the treetops of the large, old, historically protected trees in a small, tranquil park (Schönstatt Sisters) right next door. For a restful night’s sleep, the rooms can be darkened using the electric roller shades attached to the soundproof windows.
The Heiligkreuz district is named after a small chapel built in the 17th century in the shape of a cross on top of an earlier structure. This landmark can be found above, at the end of our street.
The Imperial Baths, the Amphitheatre, the Cathedral, the Porta Nigra, the Basilica, Herrenbrünchen, and other sights—not only from Roman times—are within a 20- to 25-minute walk.

Groot appartement op 2km van centrum Trier. Genoeg winkels in de buurt. Iventaris was compleet. Wel weinig handdoeken maar heb ik Florian van op de hoogte gesteld. Parkeren in de straat is een uitdaging. Fietsen kunnen niet in kelder. Wij hebben e-bikes telkens terug op de auto gezet. Verder alles prima

Fijn verblijf gehad in dit vakantiehuis in Trier. Hoewel dicht bij het spoor toch een rustige omgeving. En, al voelde het een beetje raar om in het huis van een ander te zijn zonder die persoon te hebben gezien, de check-in was voor ons prima en alle info die nodig was, kregen we online.
