Beautiful garden with an excellent barbecue area, large pool for enjoying quality time in the sun;
One of the best beaches in the north (Blue Flag);
Stunning mountain scenery;
The town is great for walking day and night.
Good traditional restaurants;
Casa de la Piscina can accommodate four adults (two on a double sofa bed)
Eco-tourism venues; the rural area also benefits from the town centre of ‘Afife,’ which, within about 800 metres, features three cafés with outdoor terraces, a pharmacy, an ATM, a supermarket, and part of the casino complex. The train station and bus stops are less than 800 metres away, connecting the north and south along the coast; the 20-minute ride to the centre of “Viana do Castelo” brings you quickly to the main road, facilitating access to the most important destinations, even without a car, whether for a short or long stay. In winter, the area is popular for relaxation, walks, and easy trips to visit the main attractions; in summer, it’s perfect for enjoying the sun and the beach.

We had a great stay at the Pool House. Easy to find with Google Maps, our arrival was painless. Carlos, and his father, were welcoming and helpful. The house is comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was great. Ten minute walk into the local village: supermarket, pharmacy, bars. Twenty minute w...
