Surrounded by the vines, native forest and olive trees of an organic vineyard, Le Mas is a tastefully renovated 5-bedroom Provençal farmhouse made for family, friends and special occasions.
This generous farmhouse sleeps up to 11, with three bedrooms with queen-size beds (160cm), a triple room with three single beds, a single bedroom, and an additional mezzanine with single bed. Le Mas is furnished with three bathrooms with showers, one of which also has a bathtub, and three WCs.
A fully-equipped kitchen-dining room leads on to a spacious living area (with AC and wood-burning stove), and Le Mas also benefits from a second living/TV room.
Outside, a peaceful vine-covered terrace with dining table and chairs gives on to the garden of the Le Mas, with access to a swimming pool, shared with one other gite.
Le Mas is located just outside the typical Provençal village of Vacqueyras – a 5 minute walk away – with its exceptional boulangerie, a butcher, grocery shop, as well as a local restaurant for traditional French cuisine, a bar, and takeaway pizzeria. The village of Gigondas, with wine bars and its Michelin-starred restaurant, is also a stone’s throw away.
Neighbouring towns host markets throughout the week for fresh produce, local specialities, and antiques, and nearby Carpentras, Vaison la Romaine and Avignon are rich in history and cultural sites.
Surrounded by the unique landscape of the Dentelles de Montmirail, there are numerous walks for you to discover right from the door of the gîte, as well as longer hikes, and cycle routes in the celebrated region of the Mont Ventoux.
Le Mas is located on our organic vineyard, Clos de Caveau, and guests are always welcome to join us for a tasting to discover the domaine’s award-winning range of organic wines, with picnics, winemaker menus prepared by Henri Bungener, and vineyard tours also available upon request.

Gite dans vieux Mas , nous étions 8 , gite confortable (deux gros canapés pres du poële à bois donnent une ambiance chaleureuse . Tres agréable séjour à Noël dans les Vignes. Randonnées, visites de villages typiques et des nombreuses caves réputées (Vacqueyras, Gigondas,...) .Visite de la cave Clos des Caveau et merci pour les nombreuses explications. On reviendra pour essayer la piscine.

If you read the reviews, everything positive that was said is true. Literally set in the middle of a vineyard, this is the most quaint, rustic, and accommodating setting a group could hope for. The pool (which is shared with anyone who might be staying at the adjoining house) was a relief, as it was...
