Casa P&G is a charming and comfortable three-room apartment in the historic center of Niscemi, a stone's throw from the main square.
It is located on the first floor (without elevator) of an elegant nineteenth-century building, among the most important historic buildings in the town, Palazzo Gagliani in via Gagliani.
It consists of a living room / kitchen, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two seats in the bunk bed and two seats in the loft and a bathroom with shower.
Niscemi is a town in the Sicilian hinterland, with a Baroque urban layout, in an excellent position to visit Central Eastern Sicily, 77 km from Caltanissetta, 92 km from Catania, 67 km from Enna, 60 km from Ragusa, 35 km from Piazza Armerina and 25 Km from Caltagirone.
The historic center dates back to the second half of the seventeenth century.
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III has a rectangular shape and overlooks the Church of Santa Maria d'Itria and the Church of the Addolorata, as well as the Palazzo di Città. From the belvedere of the town it is also possible to have a magnificent view of the Gela plain and the valley of the Maroglio river.
Nearby there are also archaeological sites and natural areas such as the Sughereta di Niscemi, recognized as a communitarian interest by the European Union.

Pietro C., Jul 2015
