La Petite Maison is a beautiful rural two double bedroomed renovated cottage, suited to meet the needs of busy people looking for peace and quiet. Situated within a 200 year old farm, (now non working) and located in the department of Mayenne in north of the region of the Pays de la Loire. The house is 2kms from the historic town of Lassay-les-Chateaux which boasts one of the finest examples in France of a fortified medieval chateau. The town has many winding streets amongst which can be found examples of medieval living all situated just off the main market square where you will find local shops and amenities. This is an ideal base for couples and friends seeking walking or cycling holidays in wonderful countryside or alternatively just a relaxing break from modern life! We do provide for you in the cottage a guide book for both places of interest to visit and restaurant recommendations and we are always happy to answer questions and make recommendations
DISCLAIMER - please note for the item on the listing ‘Chantrigné explore the area’. This section is AI generated by VRBO over which I have no control or input. For example in the ‘Whats nearby’ section it says that we are a 2min walk to Normandie- Maine Natural Park. This is accurate in that boarder of the park is 2 minutes away but the size of the park is 257,000 hectares which designates a general area of natural beauty with 17 sites that have been listed as protected areas. Although we live in beautiful countryside with lovely views you cannot walk for 2 minutes and be in ‘parkland’. The restaurant recommendations are also AI generated and two of those listed are bars, not restaurants which do not serve food.

"La petite maison" est un gite exceptionnel décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La literie est de très grande qualité, pas un bruit juste le chant des oiseaux, le souffle du vent, l'âme de la maison. Le jardin est le lieu idéal de déconnexion et est très bien équipé. L'accueil par les propriétaires Sandra et Hugues est très chaleureux, et ils sont à la fois présents et discrets.
