A very warm welcome to Holly Blue our self catering lodge near Kippford, located at Kippford Holiday Park. Boasting 3 bedrooms, plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, the lodge makes the perfect holiday home for a group or special family gathering. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling.
This beautifully renovated lodge retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. We have added a brand new deck for 2024. Should you need more space for a larger gathering we have another lodge (Clouded Yellow) on the same park which sleeps 4/5 and is a three to four minute walk away.
As a self-catering lodge you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a freezer, a toaster, a microwave and a washing machine. The kitchen is very well stocked to include washing up liquid, clingfilm, greaseproof paper, dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, tinfoil and cooking oil
The lodge is a perfect place to relax and offers a smart TV with soundbar and free wi-fi.
The lodge has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6 adults. In the first bedroom, you will find a king size bed. There is a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom is a double.
The third bedroom is a comfortable twin.
All beds have Simba mattresses.
There are 2 bathrooms.
The en-suite has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
The second bathroom has a toilet and sink and a shower over the bath.
Linen and towels are all included. A welcome pack is provided containing tea, coffee, sugar and milk.
Outside there is a large sunny decking area with seating and table and a gas BBQ.
We can provide the following at no additional cost:
Baby Pack high chair, travel cot and bedding.Dog Pack - dog towels, dog blanket, bowls and biscuits. House Rules:
- Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- There are 2/3 parking spaces outside the lodge.
- Dogs are allowed at the property - maximum of 2 small dogs. Dogs are charged at £20 per dog.
- We do not accept cats or any other pets.
The local area provides many opportunities for outdoor activities - walking, running, cycling, golfing, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and so on. The best thing about the location is that many of these activities can be enjoyed from the lodge without getting in a car. There is an excellent beach at Sandyhills (approx 4 miles away) and some beautiful walks on the coast and in the local forests. There are 2 pubs in Kippford with additional facilities in Dalbeattie (3 miles). The pretty seaside village of Rockcliffe is a short walk away.
More widely the area offers much in the way of history, interesting towns and varied landscapes. Branded as Scotland’s Secret Coast it is full of surprises!

This was an excellent lodge to stay in. Very spacious and the hosts had furnished it in a very comfortable style.all amenities were available.
Welcome pack with a lovely home made cake on arrival.
Set in a lovely location with great views.will definitely come back.
