Private parking for 2 cars.. Summertree Farm is positioned in a secluded, quiet area just 2 miles from the beautiful, picture postcard village of Thornton-le-Dale in the North York Moors. These two lovely, modern cottages have been converted from original farmyard buildings and date back to the 1940’s. One of the cottages is on the ground floor and sleeps two, making them ideal for people with limited mobility. The other cottage is an upside down cottage sleeping four people with the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views. Both cottages are very well-equipped and have a lot of character and charm and can be booked separately or together for larger parties.
Summertree Farm provides a perfect base for couples and families looking to explore the beautiful areas around North Yorkshire and the pretty villages dotted around the North Yorkshire Moors. The surrounding area is a haven for walkers, cyclists and dog owners with some beautiful countryside walks direct from the cottage. Both cottages have their own private garden where you can sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun, whilst enjoying the lovely views of the surrounding open countryside.Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Highly recommended, this is our third visit staying at the Granary at Summertree farm. Situated in a beautiful location being ideally situated for North Yorkshire Moors Railway and coastal resorts. Short drive to Flamingo Land and Water Park. Very pleasant and helpful informative owners. The swimming pool is a big advantage. Will be visiting again.

Had an excellent 3 night stay with my friend and our dogs. great set up and lovely couple who run it and good to chat with neighbour rented cottage as well making it very friendly and home from home. Thanks to Bernadette & hubby.. their lovely dog and the mysterious 3 Black cats.. Who are NO problem by the way..

what a lovely charming residence and great location for popping into York, Scarborough and local Malton. Our hosts were great and all the extra little touches in the cottage were lovely . What a great find and definitely would recommend.
