The Siebenstern am Hohen Venn holiday rental is located in the picturesque Eifel village of Monschau-Kalterherberg, right on the border with the Belgian part of the Eifel. Working from home is very easy thanks to a secure internet connection at the large wooden table. The kind housekeeper will hand you the keys. The holiday rental is furnished to a very high standard. Tasteful furniture provides comfort in this spacious apartment. You’ll find two pillows per bed: one measuring 80 x 80 cm and the other 40 x 80 cm. The apartment is on the ground floor and features a large balcony in a quiet location. There’s a projector for gazing at the starry sky, singing bowls, and much more (guestbook, website). With the “Südblick” holiday rental across the street, the apartment offers the perfect setting for both a romantic weekend and a multigenerational trip.
The village itself is a typical village in the High Fens: steep-pitched roofs, half-timbered houses, and ancient windbreaks characterise the town. The parish church of St. Lambertus rises with its twin towers and is known as the “Eifel Cathedral.”
