Charming chalet "Le Ruisseau" located in the village des chèvres (Hameau des Lindarets on the ski slopes).
It comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 dormitory and 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large entrance hatch (ski room). Terrace and well-exposed garden with mountain views.
In winter, access by car is not possible and is by gondola only (9am-5pm). You will be on the Portes du Soleil ski area.
In summer, the road passes in front.
The accommodation is like a refuge with lots of charm and authenticity.
The unusual access to this mountain chalet in winter makes it a magical place for mountain lovers.
Leave your car in the free outdoor car park at Ardent and take the gondola up (before 5pm).
You then have to walk or ski 600 metres to get to the chalet, which is on the edge of a small blue slope.
Ideal for a skiing holiday in an idyllic, privileged setting. There are around twenty chalets in the hamlet.
Shopping can be done backpacking to Avoriaz (a chairlift) or in the village of Montriond further down (cable car).
In summer, access is no problem, although you can't get up there by car between 10am and 5pm (gondola access), or via the Col de la Joux Verte (all day).
Ideal for mountain bikers, hikers and sports enthusiasts who want to take advantage of the Portes du Soleil's summer facilities (lake, horse riding, white-water sports, tree climbing, golf, etc.).
Our agency, The Lodgist, based in Montriond, has other chalets for rent and will be happy to help you organise your stay (transfers, ski passes, Savoyard dishes, etc.) and take advantage of preferential rates.
