In Olofström, about 8 km away, there’s a canoe rental by a magical lake.
A few km from Olofström, you’ll find Harasjömala, a lake district with about 30 natural lakes where you can fish for trout, pike, and perch; this landscape is also known as Sweden’s southernmost wilderness.
- The wildlife park in Eriksberg is always worth a visit; here, you can create your own safari by driving through the park in your own car to observe bison, fallow deer, red deer, mouflon sheep, wild boars, and other animals.
- You should definitely visit the island of Hanö; take the small ferry from the fishing village of Nogersund to Hanö (30-minute ride). On the island, there’s a small seafood restaurant with excellent cuisine; there are no cars on the island, just quaint little fishermen’s cottages and deer roaming freely. Here, you can completely forget the hectic pace of modern life.
- The Mörrum salmon river, with its salmon museum, is a dream come true; the river is accessible from both sides. Watch the fly fishermen at work. The Mörrum is world-renowned for its large salmon and sea trout, which are among the largest in the world—no wonder sport fishermen from all over the world come here to fish.

The house we booked was not ready for our stay. However, the host contacted us beforehand and offered us another house at the same location. The host was very friendly, and we were extremely satisfied with both the house and our stay. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and we would definitely like to come back another time.

Super tolle Unterkunft.
