Sainte-Eulalie-d’Olt, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is a 5-minute drive away.
The Aubrac plateaus are the birthplace of the Aubrac breed—the only cows in the world with natural markings—as well as Laguiole cheese and the famous knife of the same name.
In Espalion, you’ll find the diving suit museum. As surprising as it may seem, it was in Aveyron that the self-contained diving suit was invented.
Just a few kilometres away, be sure to visit Mandailles, a village perched on a south-facing rocky outcrop. You can treat your taste buds and enjoy the view at the Auberge du Lac, a wonderful spot.
