The house is located on the Mont d'or hill, and was built in 1967 in the "Violettes" park: a classified wooded area created in 1880, which it overlooks with no other view than the remarkable tall trees, the roofs of Manosque and the campanile...
It enjoys an exceptional view: the same as the house of Giono, the illustrious writer, neighbor and friend...
The house is set in the heart of nature, in a 900m2 walled garden, facing due west, with maximum sunshine and magnificent sunsets over the Lubéron in the distance.
Access is via a private lane from Montée des Vraies Richesses ( a Giono novel... obviously! )towards Mont d'Or.

Nous avons eu un merveilleux séjour dans cette grande maison. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et apprécié les grandes chambres communes. Malgré la chaleur, la maison reste fraîche, même sans utiliser la clim. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal drei Wochen in diesem Haus. Wir haben uns schon beim ersten Mal in es verliebt. Das Innere des Hauses ist sehr individuell mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Man findet alle Geräte, die man meint zu brauchen. Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, den Garten mit seinen Blumen zu genieße...
