The Sail locker is a historic stone cottage built circa the 1800s. Originally an art gallery, the space has been recently lovingly refurbished into a cosy romantic nook for two. It makes for an ideal base to explore all that Polperro and the surrounding area has to offer. We are steps away from the working harbour, sandy beach, Cornish pubs and top-rated restaurants. Why not sit back, relax in our window seat, and listen to the River Pol gently passing by the window.
The Sail Locker is ideally located.
-1 minute to the historic harbour.
-2 minutes to the local shop Polperro News Grocery Store.
-2 minutes to the beach.
-30 seconds to the fine dining restaurant Couch’s Great House.
-1 Minute Walk to Three Pilchards Pub and Blue Peter Inn.
-15 Minutes to the start of the coast path.

We have a complementary car parking space available free for guests' use. It is located further up the lane on the right-hand side around a 10 to 15-minute walk-
*Please be aware it is up a steep, challenging hill and would be unsuitable for anyone with any mobility or fitness issues.
We would recommend, driving a slight detour to the car parking space and walking down the hill with your luggage, where possible. You can unload outside, but you would have to be quick as it is a single lane. Polperro is a largely traffic-free village as many of the roads are very narrow. Unfortunately, as quaint as Polperro is, it wasn’t made for cars!
Alternatively, you can park in the main car park. Current prices, Monday to Sunday all-day

Had a really lovely long weekend in Polperro. Jaime and Teresa are very responsive hosts and the accommodation is very clean, modern and well designed for a small cottage. Situated in the heart of Polperro, so as the details state, parking is up a fairly steep hill - a longer stay would definitely keep you fit! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. Many thanks to you both.

We had a lovely stay in the Sail Locker, very cosy and well equipped with everything you need. Right in the centre of Polperro with great little pubs and shops on your doorstep. Great walks and bus service to Looe and the surrounding area. Excellent communication from the owners. We look forward to staying there again soon.

The property was fantastic and the harbor literally seconds away from the doorstep. Added bonus was the stream running right outside the bedroom window. Very cosy place, and the owners were very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this place if you are every thinking about a getaway in Polperro ;”)
